Depending on your destination and preference, you’ll stay with a carefully-selected EF Homestay host and another international EF student in a twin room, with single stay options available. Or in a comfortable EF Residence or EF Campus Living.

Rooms are assigned based on gender and age. For the comfort of our students who don’t identify as male or female, we offer various single room options.

We know this may not feel right for everyone — reach out to an EF Study Advisor to talk through your options.

Plans can change — if you cancel at least 60 days before your course, we’ll refund 80% of the course fee. See our flexible

With cancellation protection, EF will refund your course fees if you have to cancel your trip because of a personal illness or the illness of an immediate family member. How does the monthly payment plan work?


With our monthly payment plan, your balance is split into equal payments that are automatically deducted. Your first payment is charged 7 days after booking, and the remaining installments follow monthly. The final payment is taken at least 30 days before you leave.

You can still make changes to your booking after payment. We’re here to help you with any updates or requests.

Travel insurance is mandatory for all students. Through our partner Erika Insurance Ltd., EF includes comprehensive travel insurance designed for our students. It covers illness, accident, repatriation, program interruption, theft, delay, and liability.

You can request to opt out from the insurance provided after booking if you prefer to use your own. However, there are specific requirements and deadlines to do so. Speak to your EF Study Advisor for more information.
