Beautiful school grounds cultivate an intimate and safe learning environment, while a scenic 40-minute train ride provides access to America’s most dynamic hub of museums, culture, learning and excitement: New York City.
Our students in Oxford have the choice between staying with a host family and living in student residences on campus. Living with a host family offers full immersion into British society and is an excellent way to practise English. Students who live on campus enjoy supervised independence. Residence directors also live on campus and are available 24 hours a day ensuring students’ time at EF is safe, comfortable and productive.
EF International Academy Torbay’s nurturing and cosmopolitan atmosphere attracts students from around the world, and our graduates gain acceptance to Britain’s most prestigious universities, such as Oxford, Cambridge and the London School of Economics. Opening in September, 2013, the school will feature multimedia classrooms, science labs, theater, art studios, athletic facilities and a cafeteria. You can choose to live with a host family or in our centrally located student residence.
